PA-Volunteer

Throughout the year there are many opportunities for you to participate and support the school. These range from helping out in the classroom to providing luncheons for the faculty and staff, supporting the annual Back to School Picnic and helping with our annual auction gala in May. Whether you can give an hour or have a full day available to help, we would be happy to have you join our team!

	AUCTION GALA: Participate in the planning of the silent and live auctions, dinner and dance. One of the best ways to meet parents from all grade levels.

	BOOK FAIR: Assist students in selection of books, cashier for sales during week-long event in April.

	BOOSTER CLUB: Help support our athletic teams. Assist the Booster Club with concessions and boutique sales at all PA meetings and sporting events.

	CDAA: Help support the Country Day Arts Alliance to promote the artistic community at La Jolla Country Day School. Volunteers are needed to help with the dance, strings, theatre, visual arts and vocal music performances.

	Faculty & Staff Appreciation Luncheons: Bring a salad or dessert to school for our four lunches held throughout the year. Assist with set-up and/or clean-up.

	Library: Assist in the school library (Lower School and 5th & 6th grade) during your child's library time. Help with shelving and checking books in and out.

	Picnic: Help us welcome everyone back to school at our family picnic on Friday, September 11, 2009.

	Teacher Appreciation day: Help plan specials events to honor our teachers. Teacher appreciation day is April 22, 2010.

	WeCare: The purpose is to promote integrity, responsibility, ethical behavior and wellness in our school communities through ongoing collaboration and education.
